Harem Collector B&H 0.59.1

Version 0.59.1 is out! Merry Christmas everyone!

I spent a lot of work on it, and the rest of the team helped me a lot, so we hope you all have a great time.

So, what's new?

  • Brigandine's Love Quest is now implemented! New story content has been promised, at it's here alright!
  • There are three new scenes: Brigandine's reward, another one during the quest, and I've written something for Mitzi. Only the first one is illustrated.
  • Some new sprites, including a bunch of kneeling and unconscious characters to replace placeholders in cutscenes, and Florine in a swimsuit. (That sprite so good, I'm converting from Florine hater to Florine enjoyer right away.)
  • Also some new facesets. I've made more for existing characters, such as Brigandine, to the point where the painted ones wouldn't really cover it. Plus, my attempts to integrate them failed, so I'm letting it slide for now.
  • Yes, the wine merchant from Westcastle is fixed! (The whale will have to wait, tho. If you encounter problems with the whale, please install the compatibility patch.)

Compared to 0.59.0, Brigandine's relationship should now get properly locked once you're done with the quest, and the enemies now give EXP as the Angels intended.

It also means that you can unlock the achievement for getting Brigandine to 120 affection. The current name is a placeholder and I'm unhappy with it, but I still wanted to give you guys the opportunity.

I wanted to give more dialogue lines to the girls I forgot, but it turns out that I didn't have the time. It'll have to wait until the next release. However, I still a little something: a new ending to the Cannery Can-Can quest, where you can sacrifice your income to give money to those dirty street urchins. I know there's a bunch of big puppies among us who will want to do this, even if they're just some pixels on a screen.

Harem Collector B&H v0.57.0

I'm glad to announce that we shipped the fan update v0.57.0 of Harem Collector (B&H)! Please send plenty of feedback, especially for things like tile passability, as the mapping update was huge. This is a polish update, meaning that it doesn't contain any new content, but it contains plenty of bugfixes and makes the game prettier overall. The biggest change is that all the game's maps have been remade, but there's also plenty of new sprites, and more visually dynamic battles. While you can import older Harem Collector save files to this version, I'd advise against it. I've moved a lot of things around and this risks being buggy. On top of it, starting a new playthrough would be the best way to discover the new look of good old maps! ... but if you really want to, I've made a compatibility patch anyway. Harem Collecter B&H 0.58.2

Here's a new release that fixes a bunch of bugs, mainly crashes introduced by our efforts at improving the financial system of the game. It also fixes the money-making game at the Tin Dog Tavern, a crash at the beach and a cool seashell being inaccessible during the cool seashells hunt. I usually leave bugs for the next release, but the prevalence of those crashes led me to throw this update out quickly.
